Chris Gerringer knows that feel. And it turns out, several different characters from across the geek globe know that feel too, linking them in ways that brings them all closer together. Whether it’s mourning dead parents with Batman and Harry Potter, tight living spaces with Pikachu and Aladdin’s Genie, or the demoted scientific status of the Triceratops and Pluto. I know most (hip) people have probably seen some of these before, but Chris’ series is so endearing and so right fucking on that it deserves one last look. I hope you know that feel too.

People who impersonate cosplayers really bug me:
I just met one, and I started to ask questions about how she made her costume, because I’m planning to make the same one.
This said person, then proceeds to give me pointers and tips about how to make the costume. I’m quite happy about the tips I am given until I ask if she has a dA, (because I just found the same costume, same person on dA with a lot more photographs. )Then this person then proceeds to tell me that they do not in fact have a dA.
So, wow. I feel deeply offended and lied to at the moment.
If you’re not in fact the creator of the costume, why would you go as far as to describe the very costume that you do not own in detail (with probably many mistakes that could probably ruin the person asking the questions about how to make it)?
On a side note, I am going to slim down what I re-blog on this and try to make this a sketch blog/ cosplays in progress blog.
